Context

This course was created as an introduction to concepts within the financial claiming process for the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP). The module was presented as a required course for all program sponsors by the Division of Food, Nutrition and Wellness. I created this course based on regulation requirements provided by subject matter experts within the division.

Conditions

This course was created at the request of the Division of Food, Nutrition and Wellness' financial experts who regularly speak with sponsors regarding program finances and requirements. The SME requested this course to be made because she found many people did not understand how to properly document claims or utilize the Florida Automated Nutrition System (FANS) website. This module would serve as a reference for those individuals during the claiming process. 

Scope

This module was included as a required section of the division's Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program training. External users complete this course to satisfy annual requirements while participating in the program.

Role

As the Instructional Designer and LMS Administrator, I was responsible for the creation and management for this project.  I worked alongside subject matter experts who provided the required information for the project. Once the all relevant information was acquired, I complied the data into a lesson plan, which was approved by the SME along with all . I then developed and uploaded the module and all related sections to the LMS.
